Adjustable Transobturator Male System (ATOMS)

The ATOMS features an adjustable cushion with a sling for mild to moderate urinary incontinence

The Adjustable Transobturator Male System (ATOMS) involves the insertion of a sling around the urethra to help support the bladder and improve control over urination.

The sling can be adjusted after the initial surgery to fine-tune its effectiveness.

The Artificial Urinary Sphincter
This is a small, fluid-filled device that is surgically implanted around the urethra. The device includes a cuff that can be inflated or deflated using a small pump placed in the scrotum to help control urine flow. The artificial urinary sphincter is a highly effective treatment for men with moderate-severe stress urinary incontinence.

Male Slings:
Male slings are often used in men with mild to moderate incontinence.  They’re designed to support the urethra and do not need major surgery – often a single night stay only is required and the recovery is reasonably quick.
